Trauma & Hypersexuality

Trauma is different for everyone
At some point it’s the body paralysis
The inability to move
The inability to produce
The inability to feel
The inability to basically “human”
You are an empty shell of flesh

Trauma is different for everyone
At some point it’s the hollow in your chest
The screaming of agony and pain
The scratching of childhood memories
The seeping poison of intrusive thoughts
The sneering of different voices in your mind
Like a maelstrom it only gets violent in your chest

Trauma is different for everyone
At some point it’s the bright smile in your face
Or it’s the crazy laughter towards dry humour
It’s the “let’s try this even though it’s dangerous!”
It’s the “there’s no harm in trying to stay alive!”
It’s the “reckless decision and impulsive act o’clock”
The high of adrenaline rush is an addiction prison

Trauma is different for everyone
At some point it’s free will masking insecurities
The pining of another presence
The craving of human’s warmth
The thirst of attention and affection
The blur between a body with you and in your mind
You think you are coping well, but only getting worse

Trauma is different for everyone
Getting caught in a loop, however
Getting caught in shame, however
Getting caught in regrets, however
Getting caught in guilt, however
Only humane to experience so
So what’s with the double standard?

f o o t n o t e :
“Hey, you can’t be traumatized if you are hypersexual.”

But guess what honey, perhaps if you know how so desperately helpless it is, you’d dig so much into the decision making for empowerment-fed experiences you’d probably fell off your high horse and could never stand back again.

I do not write, I bleed.
