Green Light

The space are big,
If only I was not alone.
The gap are far,
Between me and you.

I built the wall so high,
So no one could reach.
You tried to get in,
I closed all the windows
And doors in me.

You took the spotlight away,
Judged me for who I am,
Or who I want to be,
I’ll be my own light.

You could weaken my power,
You could break my soul,
But I’m a fighter,
And I won’t lose any fight,
The strength are within me.

I don’t need any green light,
No I don’t need any approval,
I made my own decision,
You will see the best version of me.
